Just yesterday, this space was a children’s clothing store filled with vibrant colors, and today, it is the stylish Yakava café, where every detail is designed for comfort and aesthetic pleasure. Together with the client, we immediately saw the potential of this location and transformed it into a modern, cozy, and popular venue.
We preserved the character of the space, emphasizing its architectural features—tall panoramic windows that flood the interior with natural light. These elements were complemented by contemporary textures and materials, adding depth and expressiveness to the design.
This project was a true challenge: creating a harmonious balance between a welcoming dining area and a compact yet highly functional kitchen within a limited space. Every square meter matters here, and careful planning ensured operational efficiency without compromising aesthetics.
Designing a commercial space is not just about arranging furniture; it’s about meticulously crafting each element that shapes the venue’s atmosphere and functionality. Special attention was given to the bar area, as it dictates the café’s workflow and overall experience.
The focal point of the interior is the bar counter, clad in striking Ergon Terrazzo Medley Green ceramic granite. Beyond its visual appeal, this material is highly durable and practical. The technical section of the bar is equipped with stainless steel surfaces, ensuring ease of maintenance while reinforcing the modern identity of the space.
Material contrast became the foundation of the design: oak tabletops bring warmth, stainless steel adds a touch of industrial sophistication, and vibrant ceramic granite introduces dynamic energy. Black wooden chairs serve as stylish accents, while Saviola wood panels on the walls create a harmonious and inviting ambiance. The flooring and metal surfaces reflect light, acting as natural light filters and infusing the space with a soft glow throughout the day.
This project once again proved that commercial interior design is the art of balancing aesthetics and functionality. Every detail was meticulously planned to ensure smooth operation while providing guests with a comfortable and visually engaging experience.
